Community Bulletin Board "Old Home Day" will be held Nov. 11 at Christ United Methodist Church, 678 Fifth St., Lakewood, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Featured events will include an old-fashioned hymn sing, a church service, fellowship and a meal with an Italian flair. A classic car "turkey" cruise will take place on Nov. 4, noon to 4 p.m., on Arnold Avenue, Point Pleasant Beach. Live entertainment will be courtesy of Ed Austin and Dixie Kiernan. A fried oyster and chicken salad dinner will be held at the New Egypt Volunteer Fire Company, Main Street, New Egypt, on Nov. 4 from noon until supplies run out. The dinner is served family style. Cost: adults, $16; children 5-12 years old, $7; under age 5, free. Take-out is available for $17. Tickets are sold at the door. A craft fair is being sponsored by the Brick Memorial High School cheerleaders on Nov. 4 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Brick Memorial High School, Lanes Mill Road, Brick. The craft fair is open to all types of handmade crafters. Six-foot tables are $30 and 6-foot spaces are $25. Refreshments will be available.
