Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Dean J. Piper, son of Rodney and Elaine Piper of Farmingdale, graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Piper is a graduate of Howell High School.

Air National Guard Airman Thomas P. Caulfield, son of Maureen Caulfield of Howell, has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Caulfield is a graduate of Howell High School.

Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Ramon-carlo A. Bautista, son of Marilou A. and Cicero C. Bautista of Howell, recently reported for duty with Headquarters Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, Marine Corps base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.

Marine Pfc. Bryce P. Jacobs, son of Nathan and Kathie Jacobs of Farmingdale, graduated from Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C. He will report to Camp Geiger, N.C., for infantry training in January. He is a 2001 graduate of Howell High School.

Army Pvt. Stephen D. Yarger, son of Karen R. Yarger of Howell, has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. He is a 2001 graduate of Freehold Township High School.

Air Force Airman Anthony G. Evans, son of Jesse Evans of Farmingdale, has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is a 2001 graduate of Howell High School.

Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Thomas S. Limozinere, son of Patricia A. Limozinere of Howell and Thomas N. Limozinere of Cliffside Park, recently reported for duty at Naval Station, Newport, R.I. He is a graduate of East Stroudsburg University, East Stroudsburg, Pa. He is a 1983 graduate of Howell High School and joined the Navy in September 2001.

Navy Senior Chief Petty Officer Ted W. Cremer, grandson of Leroy and Martha Cottrell of Farmingdale, recently reported for duty aboard the aircraft carrier Precommissioning Unit Ronald Reagan, based at Newport News, Va. Cremer joined the Navy in May 1984.
