Jackson tigers would be better off in another location
     I do not think that Roberta McGilvery truly gets the point about the tigers in Jackson (Tri-Town News, letters to the editor, Feb. 21). It has nothing to do with real estate development but everything to do with the well being of the tigers.

Business owner gives thanks to Jackson Police Dept.
     I am writing this letter to thank the Jackson Police Department for the safe return of our ice cream cone. I’m not talking about any old cone, I’m talking about the 9-foot-tall cone that has become something of a landmark in front of our store, Farley’s Homemade Ice Cream, the past four years.
