Jackson Township preschool proves to be a perfect choice

As the parents of twin 5-year-old boys, we were trying to make a decision in late August as to which pre-kindergarten to send them to. We had heard about the new pre-K opening as part of the Jackson Community School. This school would be closer, more convenient time-wise and cost less than half as much as the other two area franchise/chain preschools they had attended.

An obvious choice? Well, we weren’t sure we wanted them to change schools again. This was also a new program that was unknown and the facilities did not boast the state-of-the-art equipment that the other two had.

However, the change was the best choice we could have made. The program, developed under the direction of Linda Sheriden, translates into a well-run, well-organized classroom of about 20 kids.

The talented staff is dedicated and caring. Every child seems as anxious as the next to get to school. Any disciplinary problems were addressed early in the year and have now been eliminated.

This is a "learn by doing and having fun," age-appropriate environment. The numerous class trips have also contributed to this positive experience for our boys.
