     Now that the job of Howell township manager is his on a permanent basis, we wish Bruce Davis well and hope that once the honeymoon is over, there won’t be a return to Howell politics past.

     While Greater Media Newspapers has some clearly defined policies regarding letters to the editor from sitting politicians and candidates during the campaign season, it appears to be time to clarify at least one aspect of our policy during the normal course of business.

Mansions along the Delaware bus tour scheduled
     The Jersey Shore Audubon Society will sponsor a bus trip to the Philadelphia area for a tour of the mansions along the Delaware on Sept. 18. The bus will leave from the former Brick Foodtown store parking lot on Route 70 at 8:30 a.m.
