Historical Society seeks
museum volunteers

The Ocean County Historical Society (OCHS), 26 Hadley Ave., Toms River, is seeking volunteers to provide assistance for a few hours per week or month. Openings are available in the museum education department and library/research center.

Education department volunteers meet and greet museum visitors, guide tours of the museum, and assist with programs for school children.

Research center volunteers clip newspaper articles, assist the librarian with various projects, answer mail inquiries on local history and genealogy and much more. Volunteers are fully trained by the museum staff.
