Obituaries Mr. Errico, 22, of Howell died Feb. 14 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Born in Teaneck, he had lived in Cliffside Park before moving to Howell in 1986. He was a 1999 graduate of Howell High School, where he was a member of the track team, and attended DeVry University, North Brunswick. Mr. Errico was an installer for Optimum Online. He is survived by his father, Peter Errico of Howell; his mother and stepfather, Jody and Roger Belcher of Howell; two sisters, Danielle Errico and Michele Errico, of Howell; his maternal grandmother, Doris Repetti of Secaucus; and many close friends. A funeral Mass was offered at the Church of St. Veronica, Howell, followed by interment at St. Ann’s Cemetery, Wall. Clayton & Son Funeral Home, Adelphia section of Howell, was in charge of arrangements. Willard Wayne Ivins Mr. Ivins, 64, of Jackson, who was known as Wayne, died Feb. 20 in South Carolina. Born in Trenton, he had resided in Jackson for most of his life before moving to Myrtle Beach, S.C., a few years ago. He was a residential builder who also owned and operated the Cassville Corner Deli in Jackson for five years. In 1990, Mr. Ivins started a stair and railing business. for both residential and commercial work. An avid hunter, he enjoyed hunting trips to Canada and Alaska and throughout the continental United States. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Donna Carolyn and Brian Cobain of Camp Creek, W.Va.; a son, Willard Richard Ivins of Toms River; a sister and brother-in-law, June Anne and Stan Lysandrou of Freehold; two brothers and a sister-in-law, E. Douglas Ivins of Browns Mills and Melvin and Diane Ivins of Virginia; and several nieces and nephews. Glackin-Saul Funeral Homes, Hightstown, was in charge of arrangements. Walter V. Megill Mr. Megill, 77, of Farmingdale died Feb. 27 at Tower Lodge Care Center, Wall Township. He was a lifelong resident of Farmingdale. Before retiring, Mr. Megill was a superintendent at the Farmingdale Water Department for 12 years. Prior to that, he was a mechanic for George Matthews Chevrolet, Farmingdale, for 30 years. A U.S. Navy Seabee who served during World War II., he was a member of the Farmingdale Fire Department, for which he served as chief for two years, and was also the 1998 grand marshal of the Farmingdale Memorial Day Parade. He was an avid bowler and race fan, as well as a wrecker driver at Wall Stadium. He enjoyed fishing. He was predeceased in 1986 by a son, Kenneth R. Megill. Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Ann Butcher Megill; a son and two daughters-in-law, Joseph and Victoria Megill of Howell, and Sharon Megill of Eatontown; a sister, Sara Diana of South Plainfield; a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Lacewell of New Market, Va.; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service was held at the Pierce Memorial Presbyterian Church, Farmingdale, with the Rev. Steven Kengeter officiating. Interment followed at Evergreen Cemetery, also in Farmingdale. C.H.T. Henrietta "Henri" Shaw Mrs. Shaw, 82, of Jackson died March 3 in Point Pleasant Beach at the home of her daughter. Born in Philadelphia, she had lived in Colts Neck before moving to Jackson 19 years ago. She attended the Point Pleasant Presbyterian Church, Point Pleasant. An avid seamstress who enjoyed quilting and camping, she was predeceased in 1979 by her husband, Robert C. Shaw. Surviving are two sons, Robert T. Shaw of Wichita, Kan., and Winthrop K. Shaw of Freehold; three daughters, Elizabeth A. LaRoza of Freehold, Susan J. Sutphin of Point Pleasant Beach and Candace L. Faust of Maui, Hawaii; a brother, Samuel J. Townley of Moorestown; a sister, Phyllis Armstrong of Seattle; and eight grandchildren. Funeral services were private, with Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, in charge of arrangements. Alfonso Cetrulo Mr. Cetrulo, 96, of Tinton Falls died Feb. 29 at Liberty Royal Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Tinton Falls. Born in Newark, he resided there and in Toms River before moving to Tinton Falls in 2000. He was a maintenance employee at Allied Chemical, Morristown, for 15 years, retiring in 1972. He was predeceased by his first wife, Angela, in 1952; second wife, Ruth, in 2001; and a son, Michael, in 2000. He is survived by two sons, Al Cetrulo of Howell and Jerry Cetrulo of Toms River; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Interment was at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. Windsor Curry McCormick Glade Mrs. Glade, 91, of Wall Township, formerly of Howell, died Feb. 29 at Geraldine Thompson Medical Home, Wall Township. Born in Port Richmond, Staten Island, N.Y., she had lived there before moving to Toms River in 1970, Howell in 1990 and Wall Township in 2000. For 20 years, she worked part time for Bell Telephone Co., Staten Island. She was a member of the Howell Senior Citizens and The Church of the Master United Methodist Church, Howell. She was predeceased in 1978 by her first husband, Warren J. Curry; in 1988 by her second husband, James McCormick; and in 2000 by her third husband, Charles Glade. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Warren W. and Ruth Curry of Howell; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. A funeral service was held at the C.H.T. Clayton & Son Funeral Home, Adelphia section of Howell, with the Rev. Shelly Abrahamsen officiating. Interment was private. Gayle Salerno Mrs. Salerno, 63, of Lakewood died Feb. 22 at her sister’s home in Aberdeen. Born in Brush Creek, Tenn., she worked at Jersey Link, Hazlet. Surviving are her husband, Matteo L. Salerno; a son, James T. Free of Hazlet; a daughter, Dorothy Jager of Howell; two sisters, Dorothy Moyers of Aberdeen and Patricia Ann Agee of Howell; two grandchildren; and dear friend Rheata Schneid of Eatontown. Robert John McCarthy Mr. McCarthy, 76, of Howell, died March 2 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Yonkers, N.Y., he had lived there before moving in 1968 to Howell, where he was a parishioner of the Church of St. Veronica, Howell. A U.S. Navy veteran who had served during World War II and the Korean War, he was a sales manager for Sea-Land Inc. for 21 years, retiring in 1987. Prior to that, he was a sales representative for Milwaukee Railroad. He was a member of the Benevolent & Protective Order Elks, Lodge No. 534, Manasquan; the Association for Retarded Citizens (The Arc), Tinton Falls; Special Children, Sea Girt; and the Howell Senior Citizens. Member and treasurer of St. Marks special needs catechism class, Sea Girt, he also volunteered at the Howell election polls. Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Joanne B. Bergin McCarthy; a son and daughter-in-law, Kevin John and Aletha McCarthy of Sand Point, Idaho; two daughters, Kathleen McCarthy of Howell, and Colleen McCarthy-Branti of Point Pleasant Beach and her companion, William Kelsey; and five grandchildren. A funeral Mass was offered at the Church of St. Veronica, followed by interment at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arnytown. C.H.T. George Sulikowski Mr. Sulikowski, 65, of Perth Amboy died Jan. 29 at home. Surviving are three daughters, Sharon Bialecki of Manahawkin, Stacey Sulikowski of Tampa, Fla., and Sandra Lorentzen of Tuckerton; his mother, Aleksandra Sulikowski of Manalapan; three sisters, Honorata Sakowski of Jackson, Genevieve Klajn of Sayreville and Hedi Horvath of Manalapan; a brother, William of Manalapan; and six grandchildren. Services were held at Maliszewski Memorial Home, Sayreville. Cremation was private.
