Obituaries Mr. Robilotti, 87, of Jackson died April 23 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Manhattan, N.Y., he had lived in Old Bridge for 40 years before moving to Jackson in 2001. Prior to retiring in 1979, he was a U.S. Marshal for the U.S. Customs Court, New York City, for 45 years. He was a United States Coast Guard veteran who had served from 1942-45, as well as past commander of the American Legion VIGO Post, Brooklyn, N.Y. He was also a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees and a communicant of St. Ambrose Church, Old Bridge. Mr. Robilotti was predeceased in 1998 by his wife, Marie (née Graziano) Robilotti. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Paul and Cindy Robilotti of Englishtown and Peter and Debbie Robilotti of Old Bridge; a daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Gary Heery of Kennesaw, Ga.; three sisters, Agnes Cori of Glen Rock, Helen Kern of River Edge and Stella Boccieri of Rocky Point, N.Y.; and three grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Ambrose Church, followed by interment at Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick. Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, Old Bridge, was in charge of arrangements. Schenkel Mr. Schenkel, 75, of Keyport died April 24 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born in Sayreville, he resided there before moving to Keyport 20 years ago. Mr. Schenkel was the owner of Joe’s Plumbing and Heating, Keyport. He served with the U.S. Army during peacetime. He is survived by his wife, Carol Schenkel; three sons, Tony Schenkel of Metuchen, Bobby Schenkel of Indiana and Jimmy Schenkel of Old Bridge; a daughter, Linda Oleksza of South Amboy; two sisters, Anna Lingenfelser and Rosie Biegler, both of Pocono, Pa., a brother, Theo Schenkel of Jackson; and six grandchildren. Interment took place at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle New Jersey Veterans Cemetery, Arnytown. The Day Funeral Home, Keyport, was in charge of arrangements. Bernadette C. Buecher Mrs. Buecher, 70, of Howell, died April 28 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Born in Irvington, she had lived in Englishtown before moving to Howell in 1960. A homemaker, she was predeceased in November by her husband, Henry E. Buecher. Surviving are two sons, Henry E. Buecher IV of Jackson and Daniel Buecher of Howell; a daughter, Eileen Buecher of Pittsburgh; and two grandchildren. Funeral services were held at C.H.T. Clayton & Son Funeral Home, Adelphia section of Howell, followed by interment at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arnytown.Anna Zavlacky Marsicano Mrs. Marsicano, 95, of Lakewood died April 26 at St. Joseph’s Home, Woodbridge. Born in Perth Amboy, she had lived in Metuchen and East Brunswick before moving to Lakewood in 1971. She was predeceased by her husband, Peter Marsicano Sr., in 2001; a sister, Valeria Braun; and a son-in-law, Louis Toto. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. Jon and Janet Marsicano of North Brunswick, and Peter Jr. and Carolyn Marsicano of East Brunswick; four daughters and a son-in-law, Delores Wright of Short Hills, Margaret and Walter Lencki of Bayville, and Marlene Marsicano and Jeanne Bernadette Toto, both of New Egypt; three sisters, Eleanor Ur of Metuchen, and Margaret DeAngelo and Irene Zavlacky, both of Perth Amboy; 24 grandchildren; and 52 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Brunswick Memorial Funeral Home, East Brunswick, followed by a Mass at Our Lady of Peace Roman Catholic Church, North Brunswick. Interment took place at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Hopelawn. Memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph’s Senior Home, I-3 St. Joseph’s Terrace, Woodbridge 07095. William J. Seaman Mr. Seaman, 79, of Jackson died April 27 at home. Born in Newark, he had lived in Wall Township before moving to Jackson in 1998. He was a self-employed certified public accountant from the mid-1950s until 1966. From 1966-86, he was the administrator and part owner of Tower Lodge Nursing Home, Wall Township. From 1980-93, he was a professor at Monmouth University (then Monmouth College), West Long Branch, and during the mid-1970s had been an assistant professor at Seton Hall University, South Orange. A World War II U.S. Marine Corps veteran, he had served as a paratrooper with the 3rd Marine Division and was a member of the Association of Survivors — World War II Parachute Unit of the U.S. Marine Corps. He was also a past appointee of the New Jersey State Healthcare Administration Board; a past president and former member of the Wall Township Republican Club; and a member of the Jackson Republican Club. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother. Funeral services were held at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery Chapel, Arnytown. C.H.T. Clayton & Son Funeral Home, Adelphia section of Howell, was in charge of arrangements. Viola W. Veech Mrs. Veech, 86, of Lakewood died April 7 at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood. Born in Newark, she had lived there before moving 55 years ago to Lakewood, where she was a member of St. Mary of the Lake Roman Catholic Church. A funeral Mass was offered at St. Mary of the Lake Church, followed by interment at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood. She was predeceased in 1975 by her husband, Theodore Veech, and by a sister, Ida Bellew. Surviving are a daughter, Joyce Baxter of Toms River; and two grandchildren, Courtney and Dylan.
