Greyhound adoption meet and greet Oct. 2
     The New Jersey Greyhound Adoption Program (NJGAP) will conduct a meet and greet day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 2 at Pet-a-Palooza on Windward Beach in Brick. Retired racing greyhounds will be available as “spokeshounds” and ambassadors for the breed.

     The Jersey Coast Chapter of the Amer-ican Red Cross, Tinton Falls, is currently recruiting volunteers to help work at bloodmobiles in Monmouth and Ocean counties. Hours are flexible and volunteers are only needed for five hours two to three times a month.
