Jackson Realty Group, Jackson, has upgraded its Web site. Home sellers and buyers can now view all properties for sale in the Ocean and Monmouth County areas, and view every home listed for sale with color pictures and features. The user-friendly Web site can be accessed at www.JacksonRealtyGroup.net.

The realty group also announced the addition of three new agents to the company: Beverly Ferrigno, Barbara Fairchild and Patricia Florkowski.

Doug Young Entertainment, Howell, will participate in “Balloons Around the World” event Oct. 6 at the Monmouth Mall food court, Eatontown, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and at Charlie Brown’s Restaurant in Tinton Falls from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

The event features hundreds of balloon sculptors around the country and the world arranging thousands of balloons into a variety of sculptures and shapes. Each artist will donate an hour or more of their time for a good cause in the community. The sculptures are free of charge or exchanged for a donation to the charity. The event allows artists to showcase their talent and serve the community as well.

All of the local donations at the local event will go to Wings of Hope New Jersey, a nonprofit avian and exotic animal rescue organization located in Jackson. Details: (732) 833-7825 or www.wingsofhope-nj.com.

Jackson Plaza Merchants Association will sponsor its second annual chili cookoff and motorcycle show in support of the Kiwanis Club of Jackson. The event will be held Oct. 23 at the Jackson ShopRite Plaza, 260 North County Line Road, between noon and 3 p.m. A $5 registration fee is required for each event. Information and registration forms are available at any merchant in the plaza. Prizes will be awarded to the top threee chilis entered in the cookoff in addition to the top three motorcycles.

Sun National Bank has promoted Thomas Ando, Point Pleasant, to senior vice president of the Commercial

Banking Division for the Eastern Regional Banking Group, which serves Monmouth and Ocean counties.

Ando directs commercial banking relationship managers in developing total banking relationships with Sun’s corporate, government and institutional customers in Monmouth and Ocean counties. He focuses primarily on expanding and enhancing Sun’s customer base and market share across all lines of business in the Monmouth and Ocean counties region.

The commercial banking division serves companies with revenues over $7.5 million and credit needs of more than $2 million, providing commercial and construction lending, cash management and specialized services.

Ando is a graduate of Monmouth University with a bachelor of science in business administration with a concentration in finance.

Mon-Oc Federal Credit Union has appointed Rosemarie Trachta as branch manager at the Howell Branch, and Pamela Berrian as assistant branch manager in the Toms River office.

As branch manager Trachta, of Beachwood, is responsible for new business development and will initiate visits to sponsor groups in the Howell area. She has been with Mon-Oc since 1994 and recently held the positions of assistant branch manager and head teller at the Toms River location. She has a certificate in business management from the American Management Association, and is a member of the Central Jersey Security Association and the Toms River Chamber of Commerce.

Berrian, of Toms River, previously held the position of assistant branch manager in the Howell office. Prior to joining Mon-Oc she held the position of vice president/cashier of Citizens Bank of Pagosa Springs, Colo. She joined the credit union in 2002. She is a graduate of Farleigh Dickinson University and holds a degree in banking from Western State School of Banking. She is a member of the Central Jersey Security Association.

Mon-Oc Federal Credit Union, with assets of $184 million, is a not-for-profit financial cooperative serving over 31,000 members throughout Monmouth and Ocean counties. Membership is available to all persons who live, work, worship or go to school in Monmouth and Ocean counties.
