Obituaries Timothy F. O’Brien Mr. O’Brien, 41, of Old Bridge, died Nov. 8 at home. Surviving are two sisters, Patricia Olcott of the Hamilton Square section of Hamilton and Eileen Messina of Brick; and six nieces and nephews, Sam, Jennifer, David, Allison, Jay and Jeffrey. Services were held at Gundrum Service Home for Funerals, South Amboy. Interment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.
Nicholas D’Orazio Nicholas D’Orazio, 17, of Freehold Township, died Nov. 3 after a long, courageous battle with muscular dystrophy. He was a senior at Freehold Township High School, where he was a member of the National Honor Society. He was an avid fan of “The Simpsons,” who collected the show’s memorabilia. He loved nature and his dog, Snow, and also had a great sense of humor. He was predeceased by his grandfather, Felice D’Orazio. Surviving are his parents, Linda and Riccardo D’Orazio; his maternal grandparents, Anne and Tom Kennedy, of Manchester; his paternal grandmother, Carmela D’Orazio, of Brooklyn, N.Y.; four aunts and five uncles, Susan and John Ryan, of Howell, Gregory D’Orazio, of Brooklyn, Cathy and Dante D’Orazio, of Holmdel, and Clare and Tom Kennedy, and Mary and Domenick Maragna, all of Long Island, N.Y.; and nine cousins. A funeral liturgy was held at St. Veronica’s Roman Catholic Church, Howell, followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold Township. Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements.
Thomas Wesley Robinson Thomas Wesley Robinson, 5 weeks old, of Freehold, died Nov. 7. He was born in Freehold Township. He was predeceased by his maternal great-grandfather, Thomas F. Myers, and his paternal great-grandfather, Wesley Robinson. Surviving are his parents, Katie Danielle Beese and Scott Thomas Robinson; his maternal grandparents, Katherine Myers, of Virginia Beach, Va., and John Beese, of Jackson; his paternal grandparents, Jacqueline and Alfred Robinson, of Freehold Township; his maternal great-grandparents, Lucy M. Myers, of Trinity, Fla., and Jennie and Thomas Beese, of Freehold; his paternal great-grandmother, Helen Robinson, of Sun City Center, Fla.; and an uncle, John Thomas Beese, of Freehold. The funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, Freehold, followed by interment at Cloverleaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements.
Thomas “Tommy” L. Martin Mr. Martin, 33, of Hightstown, died Nov. 6. Born in Lakewood, he had resided in Howell before moving to Hightstown one year ago and was a graduate of Howell High School. He had been employed for 15 years as a printer at CCL Label Inc., Hightstown, and had also worked as a part-time chef at the Americana Diner, Hightstown. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church, Freehold Township, and a former communicant of the Mount Olivet Baptist Church, Hightstown. Surviving are his parents, Mary Ann and Wilbert “Bill” Martin, of Howell; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Wilbert “Bill” and Karen Martin, of Farmingdale, Steve and Jacquie Martin, of Trout Run, Pa., and Robert “Bob” and Ann Marie Martin, of Bayville; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Sandra and Tim McCoy, of Plumsted, and Suzie and George McCoy, of Jackson; his maternal grandmother, Pauline Antczak, of Jackson; two aunts and an uncle, Stefanie Bradish and Odette and Mike Muha; and a nephew and several nieces. A funeral service was held at the First Assembly of God Church, with the Rev. Jeffrey Philhower officiating. Interment followed at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Lakewood. George S. Hassler Funeral Home, Jackson, was in charge of arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the First Assembly of God Church, 272 Jackson Mills Road, Freehold 07728.
