High schools support relief effort for tsunami victims

     The Freehold Regional High School District community has raised a total of $15,000 to help the victims of the December tsunami that killed hundreds of thousands of people in Southeast Asia and devastated the lives of hundreds of thousands more.

     The Howell Recreation Department is holding open registration during the month of February for its men’s summer basketball league — 35 and over. Friday night games will begin on May 27 at Oak Glen Park. Registration fee is $25, with additional referee fees.
