Kevin John Warnett

Mr. Warnett, 39, of Jackson, died March 17. Born in Elizabeth, he was a self-employed motorcycle mechanic for 20 years. Mr. Warnett is survived by his wife of 14 years, Christine Crotta Warnett; his parents, Nancy and Frank Warnett Jr. of Jackson; a sister, Veronica Warnett of Georgia; his mother-in-law, Pat Crotta of Jackson; and two nieces. George S. Hassler Funeral Home, Jackson, was in charge of arrangements.

Charles Aitolo

Mr. Aitolo, 91, of Jackson, died April 12 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he had lived in Freehold Township and Union before moving to Jackson. Mr. Aitolo was a tailor and presser for the International Ladies’ Garment Workers’ Union, Local No. 135, Newark. A U.S. Army veteran, he served as a chef during World War II. Mr. Aitolo was predeceased in 1988 by his wife, Katherine Aitolo. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Jennie and Dennis Schar, with whom he lived; a brother, Albert Aitolo of North Glen, Colo.; two sisters, Connie Valinoti of Bethlehem, Pa., and Josephine Attardi of Florida; three granddaughters; two great-grandchildren; a niece; a great-niece and a great-nephew. The funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, Freehold, followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold Township. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to tsunami relief.

William E. Howlett

William E. Howlett, seven weeks, of Middletown, died April 24 at home. He is survived by his parents, Erica and William Howlett; his maternal grandparents, Aileen and Kevin Gilmore of Jackson; his paternal grandparents, Debra Howlett of Middletown, and Patricia and William Howlett of Toms River; and several aunts and uncles. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, Atlantic Highlands, followed by burial at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Middletown.

Florence S. Katz Davis

Mrs. Davis, 75, of the Parlin section of Sayreville, died March 13 at home. Her husband, William J. Davis, died in 1990. Surviving are 10 children, Alice Davis of Haverford, Pa., Trudie Rebelo of Howell, Patrick Davis of Coral Gables, Fla., Gloria Davis and Mary Davis, both of South Amboy, Ruthie Gillen of Paola, Kansas, Eileen Ussery of York, S.C., Peggy Bilecky of Marlboro, Michael Davis of the Millington section of Passaic, and Timothy Davis of Cream Ridge; a sister, Rosella Fenton of Sacramento, Calif.; and 18 grandchildren. Services were held at Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.

Nancy Giovenco Mauriello

Mrs. Mauriello, 83, of Brick, died April 20 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy division. Born in Kearny, she had resided in the Morgan section of Sayreville for 36 years before moving to Brick two years ago. Mrs. Mauriello was predeceased in December 2003 by her husband, Louis N. Mauriello. Surviving are two daughters and a son-in-law, Barbara Mauriello of Brick, and Rosemarie and Tom Pollando of Sayreville; a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Kathleen Mauriello of North Brunswick; a sister, Anita Bressen of Toms River; three brothers, Richard Giovenco of Caldwell, Rudy Giovenco of Howell and George Giovenco of Sayreville; six grandchildren; and a great-grandson. Funeral services were held at Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin section of Sayreville, followed by a Mass at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, South Amboy. Burial took place at Christ Church Cemetery, also South Amboy.

Henry E. More Jr.

Mr. More, 84, of Middletown, died April 3 at home. Born in Kearny, he resided in North Arlington before moving to Middletown 42 years ago. Mr. More was a frame man at New Jersey Bell, Newark, for 40 years, retiring in 1985. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II. He was predeceased by his wife, Joyce Hutchinson More, in 1999; and his brother, Richard More. Mr. More is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Henry and Maureen More of Holly Springs, Fla.; five daughters and sons-in-law, Betty and James Farrant, and Joan and John Bubenas, all of Middletown, Gail and Joseph Messineo of Neptune, Cheryl and Brian Barry of Ocean Township, and Judy and Larry McGuckin of Jackson; a sister, Edna Kropinski; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A funeral service officiated by the Rev. Alice Downs of Christ Episcopal Church of Middletown was held at the John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown. Burial took place at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown.

Joseph T. Noble

Mr. Noble, 80, of South Amboy, died March 3 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a millwright with National Lead Industries, Sayreville, where he worked for 30 years. He also was employed by the city of South Amboy in the Department of Public Works and as tax assessor. Surviving are his wife, Audrey Dill Noble; three sons, Joseph P. Sr. of Howell, and Michael E. and Mark, both of South Amboy; a daughter, Noreen Besner, also of South Amboy; two brothers, Jack Noble of Old Bridge and Thomas Noble of South Amboy; a sister, Dolores Lenahan of Sayreville; five grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass was offered at St. Mary’s Church, South Amboy. Interment was in the church cemetery.
