Six Flags is hiring ghouls for FrightFest, which will begin Sept. 30 at the theme park, Route 537, Jackson. No prior acting experience is necessary. The entertainment department is also searching for FrightFest stagehands, lighting and sound technicians, and makeup artists. Candidates must be 16 years of age and available to work weekends. Interviews will take place Sept. 2 from 6-9 p.m. and Sept. 3 and 4 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Employment Center. Details: (732) 928-2000, ext. 2225.

Pierrot Productions will hold auditions for “Harvey” Sept. 11 and 12 at 7 p.m. at the Kelsey Theatre on Mercer County College’s West Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road. Those auditioning should prepare a one- to five-minute humorous monologue and be prepared for readings assigned by the show’s director. Candidates must be 18 years of age or older. Ocean County College Theatre Company will hold open auditions for the fall production of “Frankenstein” by Victor Gialanella, adapted from the novel by Mary Shelley. Needed are eight males and three females. Auditions will be held Sept. 19-20 at 7:30 p.m., with callbacks Sept. 21 at 7:30 p.m. Auditions are open to the community, and will be held in the OCC Fine Arts Center Theatre, Toms River.
