• MOMS Club of Howell-East, will host a Lunch and Learn series of educational presentations. The first one, “Saving for Your Child’s Education” will be held Sept. 9 from noon to 1 p.m. in Howell. Lynette Barbieri, regional vice president of Primerica, a member of Citigroup, will give advice on how to effectively save for your child’s education. There is no cost, but reservations are required. • Granny’s Attic and Bake Sale, hosted by the Faith Circle of Jackson United Methodist Church, will be held Sept. 10 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Oak Tree Recre-ation Hall off Diamond Road, Jackson. Items for sale will include costume jewelry, bric-a-brac, baked goods, craft items, housewares and Christmas decorations. Proceeds will be contributed to the church and parsonage.

• The Harry O’Claire Chapter No. 637 (Ocean County) of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees Associ-ation (NARFE) will meet Sept. 15 at 1 p.m. at the Lakewood library.
