Cindy Dundas has been promoted to vice president, area manager at Sovereign Bank. Dundas is responsible for all business and team member development at several Sovereign Community Banking offices in Ocean County. Dundas joined Sovereign in September of 2005, and was previously assistant vice president, community banking manager at the company’s Route 70, Lake-wood office in Toms River. A resident of Lakewood, Dundas graduated from Brick High School. She is an active member of the Lakewood Chamber of Commerce.

Coldwell Banker Riviera Realty will be working locally in support of the Marine Corps’ Toys for Tots program, which collects toys for needy children throughout America and locally in Ocean and Monmouth counties. Since 1947 Marines have been filling the dreams of millions of disadvantaged children during the holiday season by providing toys and letting them know that someone cares and they have not been forgotten. Those wishing to donate new, unwrapped toys may bring them to the Coldwell Banker Riviera Realty office at 2052 West County Line Road, Jackson.

The Lakewood BlueClaws, the class-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, will hold their fifth annual “Breakfast With Buster” food and toy drive on Dec. 15 at FirstEnergy Park, Lakewood. Manhattan Bagel, Brick, is providing free bagels and coffee to all people who drop off items between 7-9 a.m. and the BlueClaws are providing prize packs during those hours. Items will continue to be collected throughout the business day.

Buster will be at FirstEnergy Park between 7-9 a.m. to greet fans as they drop off items, collect prize packs, free coffee and bagels on their way to work.

Included in one prize pack bag will be four Philadelphia Phillies tickets, located five rows behind the Phillies dugout. Another prize pack bag will have four tickets to the BlueClaws opening night, April 13.

The BlueClaws will distribute all donated toys, toiletries, books and non-perishable food to the Salvation Army of Ocean County. Details: (732) 901-7000 or visit www.blueclaws.com.

The Outback Steakhouse of Brick, 2270 Hooper Ave., in association with the Ocean County Freeholders and Sheriff’s Department, will sponsor a Toy and Food Drive, Dec. 11 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Santa will be in attendance. Compli-mentary cookies, coffee and hot chocolate will be available. Free appetizer cards will be given to all who participate in donating. Details: (732) 920-1222.

Jackson Premium Outlets, Route 537, Jackson, will host special events for the holiday season. Santa will be strolling the sidewalks every weekend from 2-6 p.m. until Christmas. The Ocean County Girl Scouts will help celebrate the holiday season by singing holiday carols from 2-4 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday through Christmas.

OceanFirst Bank is sponsoring its annual holiday food drive to meet the growing demand at local food banks. Residents may donate nonperishable Thanksgiving foods at the Jackson branch, 260 North County Line Road.
