Lindsey Simmons of Howell was named to the dean’s list for the fall semester at Messiah College, Grantham, Pa., where she is a first-year student majoring in art education.

Mark A. Politi of Howell was named to the dean’s list for the fall semester at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech), Blacksburg, Va. A freshman at Virginia Tech, he is majoring in general engineering in the College of Engineering.

Robert M. Brienza of Howell was named to the fall semester dean’s list at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech), Blacksburg, Va. A senior at Virginia Tech, he is a civil engineering major in the university’s College of Engineering.

Rider University, Lawrenceville, has placed the following Howell residents on the fall semester dean’s list: Jennifer Bohn, a senior majoring in psychology; Stephen Bottiglieri, a junior majoring in physics; Anthony Chiaravallo, a junior majoring in marketing; Kimberly Christie, a freshman majoring in accounting; Adam Clark and Elizabeth Mackanic, both seniors majoring in accounting; Michelle Damsky, a senior majoring in secondary English education; Adam Frese, a junior majoring in English; Jennifer Kriston, a junior majoring in American studies; Jessica Reilly, a senior majoring in human resource management; and Richard Whyte, a post-graduate student majoring in computer information systems.

Rowan University, Glassboro, has awarded dean’s list honors to the following local students for their achievement during the fall semester: Lakewood residents Jaclyn M. Augustensen, biological science, and Gina Gagliano, theater arts; and Uriel Morfin, elementary education, and Megerle Scherholz, chemical engineering, both of the New Egypt section of Plumsted.

Randy Heubel of Jackson was named to the dean’s list for the fall semester at Syracuse University, Syracuse, N.Y., where he is a sophomore majoring in aerospace engineering in the L.C. Smith College of Engineering and Computer Science.
