NES rained out; rookies graduate next week
     NEW EGYPT - With rain falling in the morning, and a weather forecast calling for thunderstorms throughout the day, New Egypt Speedway management made the decision at noon to cancel Saturday night's scheduled racing program.

     The following are the results of the Westlake Women's Golf Association's June 1 outing - low gross/low net. In the 18-hole competition, Saralee Surett won the low gross in the A Flight with an 86, followed by Rose Conklin (95). Mei Chou won the low net with a 64, followed by Jeanne Chrabaszcz (68).
