On Campus

Michael Ryan DeRienzo, son of Kerri and Michael DeRienzo of Howell, has been named to the dean's list for the spring semester at the University of Delaware, Newark, Del., where he is a student in the College of Arts and Sciences. He is majoring in communications and minoring in Spanish, and is currently interning with "The Early Show" at CBS News, New York City. DeRienzo is vice president of the Student Centers Programming Advisory Board (SCPAB), as well as a founder and member of the campus chapter of the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity. He is also active in the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. In addition, DeRienzo studied abroad for six weeks in Puebla, Mexico, during Delaware's winter semester. He is scheduled to begin a fellowship in September through the school's communication department as a peer mentor for public speaking. A 2004 graduate of Howell High School, he will be a junior at the university in the fall.

Kali A. Giaritta of Jackson has been named to the dean's list for the spring semester at Boston University, Boston.

Christopher J. Tuite of Jackson has been named to the dean's list for the spring semester at Boston University, Boston.

Sophia Ali of Lakewood has been named to the dean's list for the spring semester at Boston University, Boston.

Phil Fazio of Jackson has qualified for the honors list for the spring semester at Fairleigh Dickinson University's Metropolitan Campus, Teaneck. Honors list candidates must earn at least a 3.5 grade point average.

Linda Massey of Lakewood has qualified for the honors list for the spring semester at Fairleigh Dickinson University's Metropolitan Campus, Teaneck. Honors list candidates must have a 3.5 grade point average or better.

Steve Feldman of Lakewood has qualified for the dean's list for the spring semester at Fairleigh Dickinson University's Metropolitan Campus, Teaneck. Dean's list candidates must earn at least a 3.2 grade point average.

Fairleigh Dickinson University, Teaneck, has awarded degrees to the following Howell residents: Douglas Lemanowicz, a master of administrative science degree; Iris Febres, a master of public administration; Lisa Friscioni, a bachelor of science degree in accounting, magna cum laude; and Megan Margulis, a master of science degree in hospitality management.

Kevin Healey, of the New Egypt section of Plumsted, has earned a bachelor of arts degree in individualized studies from Fairleigh Dickinson University's Metropolitan Campus, Teaneck.

Philip Rizzo, of the New Egypt section of Plumsted, has received a master of administrative science degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University's Metropolitan Campus, Teaneck.
