JTMUA commissioners are well known politicos in the community A new meaning to the words cold and deep? This story goes by the way of Jackson's new Jackson Township Municipal Utilities Authority board. Here is the cast. Bill All-mann, a former Jackson mayor and committeeman, is the chairman. Vicki Rickabaugh, a former Jackson mayor and committeewoman, and the new voice on the Jackson Township answering machine, is a commissioner. Dick Borys, a former Jackson mayor and committeeman, and the chair of the Jackson Demo-cratic Club, is a commissioner. Carol Blake is a commissioner and is also the Jackson Regular Republican Club president. Geneva "Bubbles" Clayton is a commissioner and is the chairwoman of the Regular Repub-lican Club in Jackson. Interesting notes here. Ms. Clayton is the mother of Bill Santos, Jackson's township administrator. Mr. Allmann owns Sitton Septic, a septic system company here in Jackson. Is there a conflict here for the JTMUA chairman? These positions were approved by Mayor Mark Seda by which he then appointed each of them. JTMUA commissioners get a salary and health benefits. Can anyone tell me what qualifications any of these people have in this field, and how much experience that goes along with it? Someone has to know? Did anyone see the résumés? Oh, the newly elected Township Council had and not one dissenting argument over any of these people being appointed. Is this the checks and balances we were told that they would provide when they were elected? Does anyone know why Tim Shea, the former JTMUA director, resigned? I wonder why ... He was a good man. I will miss him, too.
