Become a substitute teacher in three days

Ocean County College, Toms River, in cooperation with the school districts in Ocean County, is offering a three-day, 20-hour training seminar to prepare substitute teachers and to serve as a refresher in-service program for substitute teachers currently employed by local school districts.

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive two continuing education units.

The three-day Substitute Teacher Training workshop will be held Jan. 26 from 3:30-9:30 p.m., Jan. 27 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Jan. 28 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Details: (732) 255-0477.
