Jackson Roller Hockey registrations for the spring season will be held on Jan. 20 and Feb. 3 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Feb. 9 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. All registration sessions will be held at the municipal building. Registration is open to all age groups, K-12, and the fee is only $55 per player plus $25 for USA Hockey. A $25 work bond is required for all families. Connor Saker of Jackson recently scored the 1,000th point of his basketball career at St. Rose of Lima School in Freehold. The 6-2 center scored the milestone points against St. Benedict's School on Jan. 7. More importantly, St. Rose won the game. Saker has been playing for St. Rose the last four years. Next year, he'll be playing basketball for Jackson Memorial High School.
