Life of noted lyricist topic of March 7 talk

Join the Plumsted library in honoring Women's History Month on March 7 at 6:30 p.m. Noted musician and lecturer Fred Miller will sing and discuss the life and work of lyricist Dorothy Fields, an extraordinary woman who from the 1920s to the 1970s wrote some of the most enduring lyrics in the American songbook.

The library will host silver screen classics featuring ladies with attitude:

March 9, "Ball of Fire"; March 16, "Now, Voyager"; March 23, "Bringing Up Baby"; and March 30, "The Women." Details: (609) 758-7888.
