Golf lessons to be offered at Ocean County Park

Golf lessons will be given 8-9 a.m. and 9:15-10:15 a.m. on Saturdays, April 7-28, at the golf driving range in Ocean County Park, Route 88, Lakewood. Classroom discussion will be held on rain days in the Beach Complex Building. Fee: $36 per player ages 16 and up. 'Madama Butterfly' will be trip's destination

The Lakewood Community School will host a trip to the New York City Opera to see "Madama Butterfly," April 22. The bus will depart from the Lakewood municipal building at 9:15 a.m. and return at about 7 p.m. The fee of $110 includes second-ring seat, transportation and bus driver's gratuity.
