Church appreciates efforts made by Boy Scouts

The Prince of Peace Luth-eran Church Beautification Committee would like to thank the two Eagle Scouts, Zack Decker and Tim Zeiner, who graciously decided to complete Eagle Scout projects at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Howell.

The Prince of Peace Church grounds have been improved greatly. If you haven't had a chance to look around at their handiwork, take the time to check out the front of the parish hall (be on the lookout for butterfly houses) and the back of the church. Come the spring, the beautification committee will be replenishing the beautiful gardens.

Upcoming Eagle Scout Zack Decker (who worked on the front of the parish hall) would like to thank Woodhaven Lumber in Lakewood for the donations of wood, screws and nails to help complete his project. Zack would also like to offer a special thank you to Billy Black for giving so much of his time in helping to complete his project.

Upcoming Eagle Scout Tim Zeiner (who worked on the back of the church) would like to thank A&E Gardening in Robbinsville for the donation of sea grass, decorative stone, river rock and mulch. Also Lowe's home improvement store for a discount to purchase the benches.

This is a very important event/project for these two young men, and the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church congregation would like to offer a special thank you to these two young men for all they have done.
