Dine while helping U.S. troops April 10

American Recreation Military Ser-vices (ARMS), a nonprofit local organization that helps supply military personnel and their families with necessities, is conducting a fundraiser in conjunction with Applebee's Restaurant of Howell, Route 9 at Locust Road. The restaurant's phone number is (732) 961-9400.

Anyone who presents a flier on April 10 between 5-9 p.m. will help ARMS raise funds because 10 percent of their bill will be donated to the organization.

Fliers are available at the Howell recreation office and administration building, both at 251 Preventorium Road.

ARMS has sent more than 20,000 packages to soldiers serving in Iraq and Afghanistan during the past four years. Details: www.supportarms.org.
