The Jackson Elks BPOE 2744 will be holding a 50/50 any lake pickerel tournament on June 9 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. at a cost of $20 per person. Nick Lyons of Jackson is a member of the 2006-07 golf team at Felician College. Felician, with a second-year golf program, is an NCAA Division II member of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference. The Golden Falcons have a 1-3 record in dual matches heading into the CACC Championships on April 16 and 17.

Lyons, a junior, has averaged 129.0 for four 18-hole rounds this season. He was the team's fourth and final scorer at the 36-hole Goldey-Beacom Invitational on March 26-27. Also a member of the Felician soccer team, he is a 2004 graduate of Jackson Memorial.
