Howell summer camp seeking counselors

The Howell Recreation Department is accepting registration for counselor in training classes for summer camp. The program for teenagers (ages 14 and 15) will begin July 9 and run Monday through Friday for three weeks. The cost of the program is $40. Call (732) 938-4500, ext. 2501, to register.

Registration for summer camp is being accepted through May 4 at the Recreation Building, .251 Preventorium Road. The fee is $125. Registration received after May 11 will pay a $50 late fee. Last day to register is June 1. Details: (732) 938-4500, ext. 2501.

Plumsted library

collects used books

The Friends of the Plumsted Library will collect used books May 5, June 2, July 7, Aug. 4, Sept. 1 and Oct. 6, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The books will be sold at a book sale in November. Books, videos, CDs, DVDs, puzzles and comic books in good condition will be accepted. Books may be dropped off behind the New Egypt Historical Building on Evergreen Road. Details: (609) 758-0009.
