Chalk Day set for May 19

Artists can express themselves by using chalk on May 19 at 2 p.m. at Jackson's Chalk Day. Hosted by the Jackson Community Alliance and the Jackson Optimist Club, the event will be held at ShopRite, 260 North County Line Road. The free community event will feature awards for all participants, music and refreshments. Judging will be done by Mayor Mark Seda and members of the Jackson Police Department, the Jackson Community Alliance and the Jackson Optimist Club. No preregistration is necessary.
