Cape May Oktoberfest trip slated for Sept. 29

The Lakewood Community School is sponsoring a bus trip to an Oktoberfest in Victorian Cape May Sept. 29. The bus will depart from the Lakewood Municipal Building at 8:30 a.m., arriving in Cape May about 10:30 a. m. The festival features German food, music, a beer garden and handmade items and crafts. Attendees may also stroll along historic Washington Street Mall and shop the many quaint stores, hop a trolley for a riding tour, have lunch at one of the many eateries or just enjoy the waterfront.

Preregistration is required. The bus will return to Lakewood at approximately 6:30 p.m. A fee of $29 per person will be charged for transportation and driver gratuity. Call (732) 905-3685 to reserve a ticket.
