Construction project is no improvement

How good can it get? After almost two years, the Aldrich Road construction between County Line Road and Manhattan Street is almost finished. But wait. Let's take a look at what we have now. They took away the "dangerous" curve, widened the road and made it smooth, and constructed a new bridge. But it is still a one-lane road each way.

What happened to the jughandle that was to be made at the Commerce Bank? (politics?) What was the purpose of spending all that money and being inconvenienced, to give us just what we had before? We have the same traffic congestion with cars backed up from County Line Road to Manhattan Street.

We can, once again, thank our Township Council and county and state engineers or whomever planned and spent all our money. For what?

It's the same old "Jackson politics" that is expected in this wonderful Garden State. This gross waste of hard-earned taxpayer money must stop. The next agenda will be the athletic fields and the hiring of lawyers for affordable housing situations ... more to come.

People, let's get out there. You want to know what's happening? Join the Jackson Tea Party, a nonpartisan, nonpolitical organization made up of hardworking and overtaxed residents of Jackson. Our main agenda is to reduce taxes.
