There will be a tryout for the Jackson U-9 boys soccer team on Tuesday, June 26, for boys born between 8/1/98 and 7/31/99 at the Jackson Justice Complex, field 4, at 6 p.m. All players should wear shin guards and bring their own ball and drink. Any questions may be directed to coach Brian Schnaak at (732) 928-3137.

New Egypt Fall Ball 2007 open registration is now under way. The age brackets will be similar to the current Rec league, with a 7-8-9 division and a 10-11-12 division. Practices are expected to begin in mid-August, with games beginning in early September and lasting though the end of October. This is open to all New Egypt residents and surrounding communities. The cost will be $75 per child with a maximum of $125 per family. They are also in need of volunteers for coaches, assistants, field preparation help and sponsors.

Pinelanders Youth Soccer Club, Howell, is now accepting registrations for the fall recreational soccer season.

Registration is open to boys and girls who will be age 4-18 on Oct. 1, 2007; birth certificates are required at registration. Girls age 5-18 can choose all-girl or co-ed soccer. The fee is $40 per player, $80 max per family. There are no residency requirements. Register at www.pinelanders.com, or come to a registration session at their fields on Saturday, June 23, 9-11 a.m. The fields are at 449 Adelphia-Farmingdale Road (Route 624), behind the Revenue Administration building.
