Jackson alumni will gather JACKSON - Jackson Memorial High School alumni will be gathering for their first picnic. The JMHS picnic will be held Aug. 19 from noon to 5 p.m. at Frogbridge Day Camp, 7 Yellow Meetinghouse Road, Mill-stone Township. The fundraiser will benefit the Jackson Educational Foundation, which supports the Jackson School District. "The first annual alumni picnic appears to be getting a lot of support," said Martin Spielman, president of the foundation. Christa McAuliffe Middle School teacher Rich Raney, class of 1981, and local insurance agent Andy Weinstein, class of 1986, will co-chair the event. All of the money raised will go back into Jackson's schools, Rainey said. "There will be a heated pool, baseball, softball, tennis, a driving range, basketball and a variety of activities throughout the afternoon," said Raney. "Food will be served the entire time. The event will be held rain or shine. The cost to attend the event will be $30 per person. Children between the ages of 5 and 10 will be $15 and children under 5 will be free. For additional information, visit www.JacksonEducationalFoundation.org, or contact Rich Raney at RRaney@jacksonsd.org or RRaney@jacksonsd.k12.nj.us, or Andy Weinstein at andy.weinstein.qwl9@statefarm.com.
