Planners set schedule for remainder of year JACKSON - Three new people have taken their seats on the Planning Board. Rick Cohen, Len Haring and Township Councilwoman Emily Ingram were appointed to the board at the July 9 meeting. Ingram was unable to attend the meeting due to a previous commitment. Board members selected Kenneth Bressi to continue as chairman, Todd Porter will continue as vice chairman, Janice Kisty will continue as board secretary and Gregory P. McGuckin will continue as board attorney. Alan Dittenhofer will again serve as the board's planner and Douglas F. Klee will once again be the board's engineer. Bressi welcomed the new members and thanked the board for having the confidence to have him again serve as chairman. The following meeting dates were established: July 16; Aug. 6, 20; Sept. 10, 17; Oct. 1, 15; Nov. 5, 19; Dec. 3, 17; Jan. 7, 14; Feb. 4, 25; March 3, 17; April 7, 21; May 5, 19; and June 2, 16. The board set new hearing dates for applications that were in progress. At its meeting on July 16, the board expected to hear testimony for RG-2 Associates, Grawtown Road, and both Jackson Mews applications, which have 2,506 multifamily units containing affordable housing and a 25-lot major subdivision, all on West Commodore Boulevard. The Jackson Mews application will also be heard on Aug. 6 and/or Sept. 17 if more time is required. On Aug. 6 the board will hear CNLRS Development, County Line and Harmony roads, which will include a bank, a restaurant and an office/retail building. On Aug. 20 the board will hear the application for Ridgeway Industrial Park, South Hope Chapel Road, a 12,000-square-foot warehouse. The board is also expected to hear continuing testimony for Graw-town Estates, Grawtown Road, a 497-lot subdivision with 493 residential lots. On Sept. 10 the board will continue to hear an application for Roxie Hollow, Brewers Bridge Road, a seven-lot subdivision, and the application for Tri State Gunite, Herman Road, a 21,000-square-foot warehouse and office building. Appearing before the board on Sept. 17 will be the application of Al Heyer, Thomp-son Bridge Road and Route 571, a 4,087-square-foot convenience store, and the application for Pinerock Estates, Whites-ville Road, a 22-lot subdivision (19 homes). On Oct. 15 the board will hear continuing testimony for Leigh Reality Company, a 130-unit court ordered application on West Commodore Boulevard. The board will also hear an application for Diamond Development at Miele Farms, a 322-lot subdivision, with 315 age-restricted senior residential lots on South Hope Chapel Road. Coming before the board on Nov. 5 will be the application for Sunnybrook Estates, a 20-lot subdivision having 16 residential lots at Freehold and Sunnybrook roads.
