Defensive driving class offered in Lakewood

Lakewood Community School, in cooperation with American Drivers Safety Council, is sponsoring a Defensive Driving - Two Point Reduction class on Sept. 9. The class will be held at the Best Western Hotel, 1600 Route 70, Lakewood, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The six-hour course can save students 5 percent on their auto insurance policy for three years and/or reduce two points on their driving record. The fee of $40 includes textbook, film viewing and processing of all paperwork to the Motor Vehicles Commission. For more information or to register, call (732) 905-3685.
