President's comment was not appropriate
After listening to Marvin Krakower's rant about school bus funding at a recent Jackson Board of Education meeting, I was a bit concerned. Mr. Krakower, as president of the board, made reference to people opposing the current school budget as much like "Nazis" during the World War II era.

To compare (and by doing so, minimize) the Holocaust to the conduct of concerned Jackson citizens trying to hold the school board accountable for its fiscal actions is deplorable. Whether or not the budget was defeated is not the issue.

As an American citizen of Austrian/German descent, I find it interesting that this deflection of poor management/fiscal skills has been taken to a distasteful, higher level.

Please understand, Mr. Krakower, the people of Jackson can see right through your intent and will hold you, as president of the board, responsible for future failures

Scott D. Sargent
