Manalapan's Andrew Robinson, who competes for the YMCA of Western Monmouth County, finished 20th in the one-mile open water ocean swim conducted by Jersey Shore/Manasquan Beach. The swim was held at Manasquan Beach and was the first time that Robinson, who is a lifeguard at Manasquan, participated in an open water swim.

With the YMCA this past year, Robinson qualified for the YMCA Nationals in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He is a senior at Christian Brothers Academy.

Hunters Helping Hunger is a program that enables hunters to donate venison and provided protein to needy individuals throughout New Jersey. This is the fifth year for the HHH program. Because of limited funding, hunters donating venison also donate a minimum $25 toward the fee charged by butchers.

Participating butchers locally are Hometown Butch, Howell, (732) 462- 8149 and Godek's Livestock, Marlboro (732) 462-3695.
