Obituaries Harry Zajac Mr. Zajac, 83, of Englishtown, died Sept. 30, 2007, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was born in Poland and had resided in Old Bridge for 20 years before moving to Englishtown almost 20 years ago. Prior to retiring in 1984, he was a welder. Mr. Zajac was predeceased in 1986 by his wife, Bernice, and in 1995 by a son, Howard. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Krisanne Zajac of Howell; a sister, Rifka Teitelbaum of Israel; his companion, Carolyn Brown of Englishtown; and three grandchildren. Services were held at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Manalapan. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 801 Broad St., Shrewsbury, NJ 07702. Christina B. Magliozzo Mrs. Magliozzo, 85, of Howell, died Sept. 29, 2007, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she moved to Howell 22 years ago. Mrs. Magliozzo was a clerk at Fiduciary Trust Co. at the World Trade Center, New York City, until her retirement in 1988. She was a parishioner of St. Robert Bellarmine Roman Catholic Church, Freehold Township. She was also a volunteer at CentraState for the past 10 years, as well as a member of the Howell Women's Club and Seniors First at The Villages in Howell. Surviving are her husband, James; two sons and daughters in-law, James S. and Dotty Magliozzo of Freehold Township, and Joseph T. and Joan Magliozzo of Hamilton Township; a daughter and son-in-law, Rosalind and John Santimauro of Staten Island, N.Y.; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, followed by entombment at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold Township. The Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township, was in charge of arrangements. Marjorie Greenland Kline Mrs. Kline, 91, of the New Egypt section of Plumsted, died Sept. 25, 2007, at home. She was born in Rochester, N.Y., and had resided in Union Beach for 65 years, as well as in Pompano Beach and Jensen Beach, Fla., before moving to New Egypt three years ago. Prior to retiring 16 years ago, she was a cafeteria manager with the Union Beach Board of Education for 25 years. She was a communicant of Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Union Beach, and a member of its Altar Rosary Society. She also was a volunteer with the Union Beach Memorial Library and the St. Vincent de Paul thrift shop; a former member of the Union Beach Board of Education and the Union Beach Recreation Committee; a past PTA president in Union Beach; and a volunteer at the Holy Cross gift shop in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Mrs. Kline was predeceased by her husband, Robert Kline, in 1986; a sister, Dorothy Brown; and a grandson, Robert Kline. Surviving are three sons and daughters-in-law, Robert J. and Carol Kline of Jensen Beach, and Donald J. and Fran Kline and Dennis E. and Maria Kline, all of New Egypt; a sister, Kay Combs of Long Island, N.Y.; and four grandchildren, Meegan, Erin, Dennis Jr. and Shawn. A Mass was celebrated at Holy Family Church. Interment took place at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Keyport. Day Funeral Home, Keyport, was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Schlechtweg, 68, of Jackson, died Oct. 3, 2007, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Neptune Township, she had resided in Freehold Township from 1960 to 1983, in Manalapan from 1983 to 2000, and in Jackson for the past seven years. She and her husband operated Crest Fruit Farm, Manalapan, until their retirement in 2000. Mrs. Schlechtweg was a 50-year member and secretary of Monmouth Grange No. 92; a member and secretary of Monmouth County Pomona Grange No. 12; and a member of the New Jersey State Grange, where she held the office of Ceres. She is survived by her husband, William A. Schlechtweg Jr.; two sons and daughters-inlaw, Ronnie and Sharon Schlechtweg of Howell, and Robert and Kristen Schlechtweg of Jackson; a daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Rodney Carr of Jackson; two brothers, Garrett Thompson of Colts Neck and William Thompson of Kenbridge, Va.; three sisters, Dorothy Matthews of Freehold, Jeannette Niehaus of Centreville, Md., and Elizabeth Possehl of Las Cruces, N.M.; seven grandchildren; and a greatgranddaughter. Funeral services were held at Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, followed by interment at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold Township.
