Advocate for inclusion to speak at high school

Al Condeluci, an author and advocate of community inclusion for people with disabilities, will speak at a workshop sponsored by the Special Education Advisory Committee at Freehold Township High School, Elton-Adelphia Road, Freehold Township, on Oct. 29 from 7-9 p.m.

Condeluci will share his observations about the difficulties that people with disabilities encounter as they attempt to assimilate into communities and explore ways to build commonalities within a community so that everyone can belong and work together.

Condeluci is CEO of United Cerebral Palsy and the Community Living and Support Services, and is associated with the University of Pittsburgh's School of Social Work and the School of Health and Rehabilitation.

The workshop is open to the public. For more information, call (732) 367-4654.
