Panel got people walking to help find a cure for breast cancer
Iwould like to thank all those members of the Jackson Walks team who came to Six Flags Great Adventure to participate in the annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.

This was the first year the event, which raises funds for the fight against breast cancer, was held in Jackson, and it was a very exciting day for all of us.

The Jackson Walks team was composed of groups from adult communities, real estate, catering facilities, service organizations, health facilities and several others.

Together we were more than 400 strong and we were presented with an award from the South Central New Jersey chapter of the Susan G. Komen organization for being the largest new community group.

I would like to extend my personal thanks to the Jackson Walks committee.

Through the concerted efforts of many very dedicated people, we have helped to make a difference in the fight against breast cancer.

Bobbie Rivere Chair, Jackson Walks
