Elaine M. Cupo

Mrs. Cupo, 63, of Jackson, died Oct. 10, 2007, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born and raised in Manhattan, N.Y., she had lived in the Stapleton section of Staten Island, N.Y., before moving to Freehold Township in 1975. She relocated to Jackson in 2006. Mrs. Cupo was a Realtor with ERA Advantage Realty, Freehold Township, for the past 20 years and also coowned Monmouth Gymnastics Academy, Morganville section of Marlboro, with her daughter. Prior to that, she was a registered nurse for the Monmouth County Organization for Social Service (or MCOSS, now the Visiting Nurse Association of Central Jersey), Freehold and Red Bank, and had worked as a legal secretary in Staten Island. Mrs. Cupo was a volunteer for Relay for Life, Freehold. She was predeceased in April 1994 by her husband, Nicholas J. Cupo Jr., and in 1981 by her mother, Mercedes Febles. Surviving are a daughter, Karen Bianchino of Jackson; her father and his wife, Charles and Joan Febles of Toms River; a niece, Tara Cupo of Howell; and three grandchildren. A funeral service was held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township. Interment was private. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 801 Broad St., Shrewsbury, NJ 07702-4201.

Theresa Catherine Wallace

Mrs. Wallace, 80, of Manalapan and Jensen Beach, Fla., died Oct. 15, 2007, at home. Born in New York City, she moved to Manalapan in 1967 and had also lived in Jensen Beach for 20 years. Mrs. Wallace worked as a model before becoming an insurance underwriter for the United States Fidelity & Guaranty (USF&G) Co. in Manhattan, N.Y. She was a communicant of St. Gabriel's Roman Catholic Church, Marlboro, and a member of its Rosary Society. She was predeceased by her husband, James Joseph Wallace, in 1998. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, James Joseph II and Cynthia Wallace of San Diego; two daughters and sonsin law, Joanne Maureen and Steven Wheeler of Howell, and Kerry Ann and Sean Burke of Wayne, Pa.; a sister, Veronica Bracken of Lakewood; three grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Gabriel's Roman Catholic Church, Marlboro. Interment was private. Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, Manalapan, was in charge of arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 801 Broad St., Shrewsbury, NJ 07702.

Grace M. Wilczek

Mrs. Wilczek, 76, of Freehold Township, died Oct. 18, 2007, at The Manor Care Center, Freehold Township. Born in Perth Amboy, she had resided in Monroe before moving to Freehold Township four years ago. She was a member of the Hungarian Reformed Church, Woodbridge. Mrs. Wilczek was predeceased by her husband, Walter Wilczek, in 1966. Surviving are two daughters and a son-in-law, Sandra Amaral of Jackson and Lori and James Vittoritt of Shamong Township; a sister-in-law, Betty Vargo of Columbus, Ohio; and a granddaughter. Funeral services were held at Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, followed by interment at Calvary Cemetery, Hopelawn section of Woodbridge. Memorial donations may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, New Jersey Chapter, 200 Middlesex Turnpike, Iselin, NJ 08830.

Margaret Narozanick

Mrs. Narozanick, 88, of Freehold, died Oct. 12, 2007, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. She was born in Matawan and had resided in Englishtown before moving to Freehold in 1965. She was a graduate of Matawan High School and Drake Business School, Perth Amboy. Mrs. Narozanick was employed by Brookdale Community College, Lincroft section of Middletown, when the school first organized. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold, as well as a former member of Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church, Englishtown. She was also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post No. 4374 Ladies Auxiliary, Freehold, and the Federated Women's Republican Club. Surviving are her husband of 65 years, former Freeholder Theodore J. Narozanick; a daughter, Carol Ann Vineyard of Manchester Township; three grandsons, Scott Cranmer of Jackson, Craig Cranmer of Beachwood and David A. Cranmer of North Hanover Township; and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold Township. Nellie Stovall

Mrs. Stovall, 92, of Freehold, died Oct. 20, 2007, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. She was known to everyone as "Aunt Sue." Born in Richmond, Va., she had resided in Red Bank before moving to Freehold in 1938. She was a domestic worker prior to retiring and had previously been employed by Marlboro State Hospital. She was a longtime member of New Beginnings Agape Christian Center in Freehold, formerly the Second Baptist Church, where she served on the usher board for more than 25 years. Mrs. Stovall was predeceased in 1979 by her husband, Alfonza Stovall, and in 1970 by a daughter, Lillie Mae Cooper. Surviving are an adopted daughter, Ella Stroud of Spring Lake; an uncle, Lester Robinson of Virginia Beach, Va.; four grandchildren, Kenneth Ronald Stroud Jr. of Lakewood, Kimberly L. Stroud of Freehold, and Daliah and Gregory Stroud, both of Spring Lake; and a niece and three nephews. Funeral services were held at New Beginnings Agape Christian Center, followed by interment at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold Township. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements.

Henry Fanizzi

Mr. Fanizzi, 77, of Freehold, died Oct. 23, 2007, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was born in Connecticut and had lived in Brooklyn, N.Y., before moving to Freehold in 1994. Prior to retiring in 1992, Mr. Fanizzi was a stationary engineer for Lincoln Savings Bank, Brooklyn, for more than 25 years. He then became a driver for the David Michael Motor Group. Mr. Fanizzi was a parishioner of St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, Freehold. He was predeceased by seven brothers. Surviving are his wife of almost 50 years, Mary Fanizzi; two sons, Peter Fanizzi of Union Beach and Stephen Fanizzi of Brooklyn; two daughters and sons-in-law, Marylynn and Nicholas Verdi of Freehold, and Kathy and Dean Nikitas of Old Bridge; a daughter-in-law, Gamble Fanizzi of Howell; and six grandchildren. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold Township. The Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township, was in charge of arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
