Choir plans area performances The Community Christian Choir, known for innovative, spirit-filled Christian music programming, is bringing its Christmas program to the central and southern New Jersey area. The concert series "More Than A Story" delivers the Christmas message creatively through music, movement, narration and other forms of meaningful technology. Harmonies from children and adults will resonate throughout the performance hall. Admission is free. A free-will offering will be collected to benefit local charities. Date: Dec. 2, 6 p.m. •Lutheran Church of Our Savior, 204 Wayne Avenue, Haddonfield. Benefits Sr. High Habitat for Humanity Mission Trip. Date: Dec. 8, 7 p.m. •St. Vincent DePaul Church, 555 Allentown Road, Yardville. Benefits St. Vincent DePaul Society. Date: Dec. 14, 7:30 p.m. • Millstone Performing Arts Center, 5 Dawson Court, Millstone Township. Benefits Sunshine Foundation. Date: Dec. 16, 3 p.m. The Community Christian Choir is a 501(c)3 organization that began in 1995 in Bordentown with 20 adults from nine churches, under founder and director Patricia Weitz. Today, the Community Christian Choir is called from many Christian denominations, from more than 40 area churches, with adult and children's divisions singing contemporary Christian music in praise to God. In addition to witnessing through music excellence, the choir provides mutual Christian support and financial benefit to various charitable organizations. The choir has raised more than $110,000 to date for local charities. The children's choir has performed in Walt Disney World, Atlantic City, and Washington, D.C.
