Anna Hathaway

Mrs. Hathaway, 92, of The Villages, Howell, died Oct. 26, 2007, at home. Born in Jersey City, she had resided in the Iselin section of Woodbridge for 30 years before moving to The Villages 20 years ago. Mrs. Hathaway was a homemaker. She was a parishioner of St. Robert Bellarmine Roman Catholic Church, Freehold Township, and a member of the American Legion Post 471 Ladies Auxiliary, Iselin. Mrs. Hathaway was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth, five years ago. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Ann and John Rocco of Freehold, and Elizabeth and Edward Purcell of Farmingdale; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Cemetery, Freehold Township. The Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township, was in charge of arrangements.
