Edward Wanzor Mr. Wanzor, 74, of Middletown, died Nov. 14, 2007, at home. Born in New York City, he resided in Queens, N.Y., prior to relocating to Middletown 38 years ago. He was the owner and operator of a Sunoco Service Station, Linden, retiring in 1997. He served with the U.S. Navy for 20 years during the Korean War and Vietnam War, and attained a rank of Master Chief. He was a communicant of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, New Monmouth section of Middletown. He was a member of the Fleet Reserve Association, and Naval Weather Service, Air Ship Chapter, Lakehurst. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Lois Baumann Wanzor; a daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Richard Cleary of Middletown; a son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Jennifer Wanzor of Jackson; a sister, Alice Pfeffer of New Windsor, N.Y.; and six grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Mary's Church. Entombment was at Fair View Mausoleum, Middletown. Arrangements were by John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown.
