Richard T. Pelphrey

Mr. Pelphrey, 57, of Kinnelon, died Dec. 17, 2007, at home. Born in Chandler, N.C., he was raised in Riverdale and had lived in Oak Ridge and Howell before moving to Kinnelon in 1993. Mr. Pelphrey, a 1976 graduate of Georgetown College in Georgetown, Ky., was a salesman in northern New Jersey his entire life. Surviving are two sons, Thomas Pelphrey of Hoboken and Robert Pelphrey of Howell; his former wife, Laurie Pelphrey of Howell; a brother; the Rev. Phillip Pelphrey of Franklinville; many close friends, including John Bydook, George Winne and Joseph Hardenbrook; and many nieces and nephews.Afuneral service was held at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township, followed by interment at Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover.
