Anne R. Heron

Mrs. Heron, 82, of The Villages, Howell, died Jan. 8, 2008, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. She was born in Scranton, Pa., and had lived in Clifton and Garfield before moving to The Villages 13 years ago. Mrs. Heron worked for Guardian Answering Service, Freehold. Prior to that, she was the director of communications at St. Joseph's Medical Center, Paterson. She was also previously associated with Passaic General Hospital.Mrs. Heron was a member of St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, Freehold, and a former member of St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church, Clifton. She was predeceased by her first husband, Edward A. Heron Sr., in 1966; her second husband, Stephen Denistran, in 1998; and a son, Timothy H. Heron, in 2004. Surviving are three sons and two daughtersin law, Patrick Heron of Detroit, Stephen and Geraldine Heron of Chula Vista, Calif., and Edward Heron Jr. of Beverly; a sister-in-law, Jeanne M. Ward of Elmwood Park; six grandchildren; and a goddaughter, Margaret Tuman of West Palm Beach, Fla. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Paul's Church, followed by interment at Calvary Cemetery, Paterson. Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township, was in charge of arrangements.
