Knights of Columbus to host cancer benefit

The Howell-Jackson Knights of Columbus will host its eighth annual Race for Life Cancer Benefit Feb. 17. The event, held in conjunction with the Daytona 500, was started several years ago in memory of Chuck Washington, a Knight who died at a young age from cancer. All proceeds raised from the event will be donated to a family in the local area who is battling this disease. The cost is $12 per adult, $6 for ages 12- 17, and free for children under age 12.
