Marie E. Holmes

Mrs. Holmes, 89, of Marlboro Township, died Feb. 13, 2008, at the John L. Montgomery Care Center in Freehold. She was born in Staten Island had resided in Marlboro since 1924. Mrs. Holmes was a hairdresser in Freehold, and a member of the Old Brick Reformed Church, Marlboro Township. Mrs. Holmes was predeceased by a brother, William Miles, and a sister, Ruth Noll. Surviving are her husband, Harry "Dewey" Holmes; a son, Dewey Holmes, Howell Township; a daughter and son-in-law, Laura and William Hogan, Marlboro Township; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at the Old Brick Reformed Church, followed by interment at the church cemetery.
