GCU's Irish Afternoon moves to Strand Theater

The world-renowned Irish Tenors, Finbar Wright, Karl Scully and Anthony Kearns will perform as part of Georgian Court University's Irish Afternoon celebration - but at a new venue. The operatic trio, who are well known for their versatility as well as their performances of traditional Irish music, will appear at the Strand Theater, 400 Clifton Ave., Lakewood, at 2 p.m. March 16.

Performing together since 1998, the Irish Tenors have breathed new life into traditional treasures and recorded seven best-selling albums. The afternoon will provide a combination of operatic skill, Irish heritage and unexpected musical selections. Tickets are $75, $50 and $35 (plus a $4 service charge per ticket.)
