Foundation plans fashion show

JACKSON - The Jackson Educational Foundation is sponsoring a preprom fashion show and luncheon on March 29 at La Bové Grande (Circle Landmark), Route 70, Lakehurst.

"This is a really fun event, a chance to sit back with friends, have a nice lunch and enjoy a good show,'' said Theresa Licitra, chairperson of the event. "The event itself is a fun time, but knowing you are supporting a great cause is a nice bonus as well.''

Post-prom casual wear from MTI Apparel of Toms River will also be featured, as will jewelry and accessories from The White Butterfly in Jackson. A special guest performance will be provided by the Jackson Memorial High School Jazz Band.

"Between the band and the food and the show, it is really a very nice way to spend the afternoon,'' said Licitra. "We hope people will come join us for this event.''

Tickets for the event are priced at $30 and include a sit-down luncheon followed by a gift auction. The luncheon will begin at 11:30 a.m. and end no later than 3:30 p.m.Mothers, daughters, fathers and sons are all welcome to attend.
